Taroo (“us”, “we” or “our”) provides users with access to the applications acquired through https://www.freshworks.com/apps as amended from time to time (“Application”).
To effectively optimize use of the Application, we need to collect personal information from each user and process that personal information. We may also collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address to track and aggregate non-personally identifiable information.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about how we process information about you. From time to time, we may also email a user any product or service specific privacy notices or documentation to explain in more detail how we handle information related to privacy.
Your personal information may be stored, accessed and processed by our data processors as described in this Privacy Policy.

Consent
We will only collect and process your personal information with your consent. By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the use of your personal information as set out in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you may withdraw your consent by ceasing to use the Application.
How Your Information is Used
(a) Information you provide – When you purchase an Application, you are required to provide personal information. We may utilize and store the information you submit to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of the Application and/or if required to disclose this information to satisfy any applicable law, legal requirement, police investigation or request from a government authority. We will not store any of the information you provide other than the specific field requested by you and the associated Freshdesk ticket (i.e., we will not passively or automatically read your Freshdesk data) or write any of the information you provide to Freshdesk other than as necessary to provide you with the use of the Application. We will not sell your personal information to a third party. However, and at our sole discretion, we may share your personal information with third parties who provide services which are complementary to the Application.
(b) Log Information – When you access the Application, our servers automatically record certain information. These server logs may include information such as your IP address and the date and time of your access to the Application.
(c) Communications – When you send email or other communications to us, we may retain those communications to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our Application. We may use your email address to communicate with you about our services. We may send email or other communications to any person whose email address or contact details have been provided to us by a former or current user of the Application or a third party that provides a complimentary service to the Application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these emails or other communications, please contact us at support@taroo.in.
(d) Other sites – This Privacy Policy applies to the Application only. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as search results, sites that include the Applications or links from within our Applications to other sites. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.
In addition to the above, we may use the information collected to:
(e) Provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Application; and
(f) Protect the rights or property of Taroo or its users.
If we use this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask for your consent prior to such use.
Advertising Services
We may let third parties use cookies, log files, web beacons and other similar technologies to collect information about your online activity. This information may be used to measure the performance of ads, provide you with more relevant ads and improve your experience.
When you purchase an Application, we request your consent to use your email address to provide you with updates on our products.
Information security
We share your personal information with our data processors as set out in this Privacy Policy. Our data processors are required to comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation.
We process personal information on our servers in the United States of America, and you consent to your personal information being processed and in that location. The United States of America may have laws which are different and potentially not as protective, as the laws of your own country.
We acknowledge that we will take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These measures may include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and ensuring our data processor maintains an adequate level of data protection and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
We do not warrant that these security measures will prevent any unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of the data. We disclaim all liability in relation to any unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of data that is outside our reasonable control.
We will notify you within 72 hours (about 3 days) and without undue delay of any:
1. actual breach of security, which when reasonably suspected poses a risk to the security, confidentiality or integrity of your personal information; or
2. actual unauthorized access to any personal information; which is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms.
Access and Control of personal information
We will only collect and process your personal information where we have your consent and where it is necessary for the performance of the Application. At any time, you have the right to withdraw your consent by ceasing to use the Application.
When you use the Application, at any time, you can request that we provide you with a copy of your personal information in machine readable form.
When you use the Application, you may request that we correct your personal information if it is inaccurate, cease or restrict the processing of your personal information or to delete such personal information if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.
We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected, removed or not sold, released, disclosed or transferred before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate costs and/or technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. Because of the way we maintain certain Services in connection with the Applications, you acknowledge that residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.
You may request access to and changes to your personal information and the way in which our data processors process your personal information by emailing support@taroo.in.
Termination of Account
We will promptly delete all copies of your personal information following the earlier of when it is no longer needed to provide you with the use of the Application or upon your written request.
We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
We will retain some of your personal information after you cease using the Application if reasonably necessary to satisfy any applicable law, legal requirement, police investigation or request from a government authority.
Complaints
When we receive formal written complaints, it is our policy to contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may amend or vary this Privacy Policy from time to time by publishing the amended Privacy Policy in the Application.
